Finding Your Authentic Voice

(Trova la voce vera)

Course description:

This course is geared toward, actors, teachers and public speakers, as well as English language learners who wish to clarify their accent. This course will develop an individualized practice to support the voice through breath, posture, diction, emotional expression, gesture, and content.

Teaching approach:

Natural use of the voice is a fundamentally pleasurable experience for both the speaker and the audience. Finding Your Authentic Voice is unique in that it focus' on the pleasure of speech in order to make the best of one's vocal expression and native talent.

Course program:

Each lesson begins with vocal exercises that build upon the previous lesson in order to develop a personalized practice that will safely support a strong, sonorous, flexible voice. We will then work with text or improvisation, depending upon the needs of the students, to hone their public voices.
