About the classes

(What you can learn from this teacher)

I have a very open-minded and also creative approach to teaching. I work a lot through games, individual expression, open-concept learning and practical thinking. That means, if we see a grammar chapter, we are going to practice instantly with an active application thereof. It is very important to me, to give every student the feeling to express themselves in their own manner and speed.

Course program:

I like to work on all key skills of language acquisition in each of my classes: reading, writing, listening and speaking. If you have specific wishes, I will adapt the lesson plan to your individual goals.

TEACHER EDUCATION

I studied languages in Austria and Canada and obtained a Masters degree in 2010. During my studies here in Montreal, I realized that the demand for German was quite high and I decided to go back to school to become a certified German as a Second Language teacher.

TEACHER EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching German for the past 6 years now and I really love it. I work in a German school, as well as at a Language Institue in Montreal and at a private College. Next to that, I work as a translator and text editor at University. By now, I have taught all age groups (age 3-80), all Levels (A1-C1), as well as more specific subject classes like conversation, Business German, exam preparation, etc.
