Each student is different. I will try to understand what is needed by each student.
I mainly use textbooks like 'Genki', but also I like to use flash cards, other online resources, and another textbooks.

O curso tem como objetivo ensinar os primeiros passos na língua portuguesa, começando com: fonética e construção de palavras (alfabeto e pronúncia); estrutura básica das frases e expressões do dia a dia; primeiros verbos em português e nome de objetos do dia a dia; o uso das preposições nas frases.

The course aims to teach the first steps in Portuguese language, starting with: phonetic and building words (alphabet and pronunciation); basic structure of sentences and daily expressions; first verbs in Portuguese and name of objects of daily life; the proper use of prepositions in sentences.

In this course you will learn word by word, sound by sound, how to express yourself in a basic way, in few days. Focusing in basic structure in the first two classes (phonetic, pronunciation, alphabet and order of words in a sentence), will give you the confidence you will need to understand the language, and build your first sentences already in the second or third class.

My primary goal to ensure that they leave each class having learned something that is not only new but also useful. I believe in giving the student the tools and showing them how to use them.

I am focusing on teaching how you can communicate every day in Greek, to learn pronunciation and back again to express yourself in more complex structures as speaking is the area that most learners want to start from. So we start with the Greek alphabet, punctuation, grammar and syntax.

We practice with greek songs from youtube. There is an amazing greek music culture, from Greek rock, pop or Greek laika (λαϊκά, it means people’s/popular music) to reggae in Greek. Also, I always try to find content that aligns with the learner's interests and experiences.

This is a pure grammar lesson for beginners, it's better if you follow the lesson, for example every days or every weeks, there are also some homeworks !
