Preparing for TOEIC, SLE, IELTS, CanTEST, GCT, CELPIP or other assessment?
After an initial assessment, I tailor the plan to match your ability and the structure of the test. Each week will focus on a different section of the test, related vocabulary, grammar and focused language practice.
I follow a structured teaching method that includes hands on practice using authentic test materials and additional resources. Purchase of texts are optional and review materials will be provided to help you practice between classes.

My name is Jenny-Lyn and I am a teacher who works with adult, elementary (Grade 1 to 6) and ELL (English Language Learner) education. I was born in Ontario, Canada and have finished a Humanities B.A. in Toronto. I was fortunate to gain two and half years of teaching experience with adult learners in Japan but was ready to return to the classroom after completing a Diploma of Education in Melbourne, Australia.
I taught in Nunavut, Canada with ELL students between 5 and 8 years of age while also running a literacy remediation program for adults. While living in Ottawa, Canada for seven years, I was an elementary educator with the Ottawa Carlton District School Board. I have moved out of the city and am refocusing my career on the subject I am most passionate about, second language learning. I look forwards to working with you on your language goals. :)
