Learn Persian
This course aims to help those interested in Persian culture and language to acquire their needs in these two fields. As to Persian culture, I intend to provide free information and teaching to a certain extent. As to Farsi, I can give you a helping hand with learning the language from a native, me!
Since one single approach can never be practical in teaching a language, I employ different kinds of methods and approaches according to the material taught. However, I generally make use of task-based techniques, as they engage the student in some linguistic activities that, by doing them, she or he picks the intended material more easily and of course in practice. All in all, interaction is kept at its highest level, with maximum talking time for the student.

My name is Masoud, and I come from Iran. I'm into teaching Farsi, as I come to know people from a variety of social and cultural backgrounds. Moreover, the dynamic environment of a Farsi class has always enthused me, especially, because a language learner has a goal in mind, and, when you help her or him accomplish that target, as a teacher, you feel satisfied. Oh, by the way, My fields of interest include, but not limited to, Farsi, Persian culture, and Persian and English literature (my major).
BA in English Literature at University of Isfahan (2010)
MA in English Literature at University of Isfahan (2014)
Ph.D. Candidate in English Literature at University of Isfahan (2014-present)
As my university major is English literature, I have always been into teaching literature and its medium, that is, language to students with varying needs. Not only have I taught Farsi to foreign students of Persian literature in Iran, but I have also been able to help people who wished a native to elaborate upon certain Farsi texts, especially those of Persian literature and Farsi learning books, to appreciate and practice their materials better.
