Course description:

If you are a beginner or if you already speak Portuguese, I will be happy to share my knowledge about Brazilian culture and help you to learn key language concepts and apply them in real-life situations. Portuguese is my native language but I can also speak fluent English and good German.

Teaching approach:

The course is focused on the student's needs and schedule availability, and its content is developed accordingly to the student's necessity. If you already have some Portuguese skills, or if you are a beginner and want to get in contact with the Brazilian culture, please feel free to contact me at any time.

About the teacher

I am a Brazilian artist and filmmaker living and working in Berlin since 2015. In the past decade I have been producing intensively in several media always maintaining them in dialogue with film language. I have a BA in Cinema from FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado and in 2016 I completed my Masters in film direction and screenwriting at Met Film School Berlin. In the same year I wrote and directed the short film Noturno, which was selected for 49 festivals and awarded with seven prizes throughout Europe, America and Asia. Since I’m working on the script of my new film at the moment, I have a quite flexible schedule. Let me know when and where you would like to meet up for our first lesson.

Qualifications

1994-1999 Cinema at Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation, São Paulo.
2004 Art History with Prof. Rodrigo Naves, São Paulo.
2016 Master in Filmmaking at Met Film School Berlin.
