This course aims at improving your conversational skills in Spanish. It is addressed to students who already have a basic level of Spanish. We cover different aspects from the language, but focus on pragmatic aspects and the language in use based on your needs and interests.
This course is designed based on your needs and interests. I include authentic materials to explore and discuss in our lessons. Furthermore, I provide some feedback at the end of the class with some tips to improve your speaking skills.

Mi nombre es Fernando Cárdenas, soy profesor de inglés y español para extranjeros en una universidad en Bogotá. Trabajo enseñando español a estudiantes de intercambio y turistas que vienen a Bogotá. Actualmente vivo en Bogotá, pero soy de una pequeña ciudad en el sudeste de Colombia llamada Granada (Meta). Me apasionan la fotografía, la lingüística y las lenguas, por lo que decidí estudiar Filología e idiomas y aprender diferentes lenguas como el francés, el alemán, el portugués, etc. Me gusta enseñar porque es una forma de interactuar con personas de diferentes culturas y de ayudar a quienes necesitan o desean aprender una lengua.
