For a limited time, you have the opportunity to work with a NATIVE ENGLISH TEACHER from the US! No matter your age or your level of English, I would be happy to help you work towards your language goals.
The result of my efforts should be your tangible progress on your own goals. For this reason, I constantly ask for your input when determining the focus of our time together. Each student is different, so we will brainstorm enjoyable, practical ways to learn the content and skills you wish to be proficient in. As a trained teacher of English to speakers of other languages, I will create lessons incorporating your goals in fun and focused activities!
Varies by student(s): we can focus more on conversation, reading, writing, listening or even on schoolwork if you are in formal classes elsewhere. We will always be keeping your goals in mind, but we will find ways of learning that won't feel like work to you!

ABOUT THE TEACHER
I graduated in May 2017 with an World Languages degree and a minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I enjoy helping others succeed and be empowered by their success and their new skill! I know how difficult learning a language is, as well as learning a culture, so I would be happy to help in both aspects of the journey. On my own time I enjoy reading National Geographic, catching up on the latest world news, chatting about differing opinions (I prefer this to the term "debating"), and of course exploring what I have not encountered yet in this wide world.
High School Diploma: Ypsilanti Community Schools - Early College Alliance at Eastern Michigan University, June 2014
Certificate in Middle Eastern Studies, Middle East Studies Program, Fall 2016.
Not Yet Received: Bachelor of the Arts in World Languages with a TESOL Certificate Minor, Grace College and Seminary, May 2017.
Previous experience teaching English in tutor settings (one-on-one) and in small group/class settings in Michigan, Indiana, Jordan, and Argentina. My students have ranged from children to adults and include many nationalities: Japanese, Korean, Mexican, Syrian, Jordanian, Sudanese, and Argentine.
