Hi everyone! My name is Efi, and I am a native Greek tutor. I have years of experience teaching students from all over the world and truly enjoy the cultural exchange in every lesson. I believe that learning a new language opens new paths to communication, understanding, and creativity.
In this class, learning is always fun, interactive, and adapted to each student’s needs. I put special emphasis on speaking practice, so learners feel comfortable using Greek from the very first lessons. To keep the process lively, I integrate authentic materials such as movies, songs, texts, and poems. This way, the course becomes a dynamic journey into both the language and the culture!
At the beginning of the course, we focus on learning the Greek alphabet and the basics of reading and writing. During the first lessons, students gradually become comfortable with written Greek, and from the 5th class onward we start introducing speaking activities that increase step by step. By lessons 8–10, speaking and short written texts (essays) take up a large part of our time together, helping students to use the language more naturally and confidently.
For our lessons, I use the textbook Greek for You A1, which I can provide for free to students who start with me. In addition, I often create my own grammar materials to make the learning process clearer and more adapted to each student’s needs.
My goal is to create a positive, fun, and supportive environment where learning feels enjoyable and motivating. I am really looking forward to starting this journey with you and helping you discover the beauty of the Greek language and culture!
