My name is Jenny-Lyn and I am a teacher who works with adult, elementary (Grade 1 to 6) and ELL (English Language Learner) education. I was born in Ontario, Canada and have finished a Humanities B.A. in Toronto. I was fortunate to gain two and half years of teaching experience with adult learners in Japan but was ready to return to the classroom after completing a Diploma of Education in Melbourne, Australia.
I taught in Nunavut, Canada with ELL students between 5 and 8 years of age while also running a literacy remediation program for adults. I am presently living in Ottawa, Canada and working as a regular classroom teacher with the Ottawa Carlton District School Board. I look forwards to working with you on your language goals. :)
