My first aim when teaching is to instill confidence in a language learner. Even if language or vocabulary choices are not perfect, the main point is to start communicating and be understood. For this reason I focus on how to start communication rather than getting overly concerned about minute grammar details.

Secondly, learning a language is providing a window into another culture. Therefore, I give my insights into the culture of the language to engage a language learner.

I will be conducting the lessons more as a friend instead of a teacher to the students. Allowing ample chances for the students to converse and giving them real-life examples in order for them to understand better. There is no need for students to be nervous as I will do my best to speak to them in Japanese and help them ease into speaking English fluently.

I am a supportive, patient and encouraging teacher. I use outside materials and real world examples relevant to you to help you speak English more comfortably. This is a conversation style lesson with the aim of using English as much as possible.
