Acerca del profesor

Hello! My name is Vasilios Papanikolaou and I am Greek tutor. I received my B.A. in Classics (meaning, greek literature, Latin, Greek, Ancient Greek, ancient history and literature) and philosophy from Kapodistrian University in Athens, where I graduated with highest honors. I received an Masters and a Doctora in Special Education from the University of Frederick in Cyprus.Helping students to improve the quality of their writing through careful attention to structure, style, and content is a particular focus of my tutoring. I love teaching all eras and genres of literature. It is particularly rewarding to cultivate a student's enthusiasm for literature and for the humanities more broadly.I firmly believe that every student can succeed and enjoy learning. When a student enjoys learning and feels that a tutor is his or her advocate, the student is more likely to be successful.

Experiencia

I have taught Greek, ancient Greek, Latin, and history in the private school setting for several years in Cyprus. I currently tutor middle school and high school students in Latin (including AP), Greek literature and composition, both general and special education.
