Would you like to do something useful with all of your couch-time? Learn with someone who has learned languages. I've learned several (like German! Though I still have a long way to go) and have been teaching English for nearly 10 years. All ages, all skills listening? writing? speaking? Yes!
Having learned several languages, I understand the struggle. Although I am a native speaker (we often get a reputation for not understanding grammar), I understand much more because of my experiences with other languages. As a speaker of German, I can more easily find the root of various grammar problems (usually they are linked to the mother tongue) that German speakers have more easily.
