Teaching is about human interaction.
You give and take. With most of my students we keep in touch and there is a kind of friendship between us.
I love explaining how every greek word doesn't just mean something but it describes an object, a feeling, a condition.
I like my students' reaction when we meet english or international words that come from a greek word. For example, ecology, economy, epidemic.
I am a professional Greek language tutor.
I have been teaching for more than 10 years.
My students are
* foreigners that love the Greek culture, kitchen, way of life and visit Greece every year
* older Greek people that live abroad and they want to speak fluently
* young people, who want to find their Greek roots
* students or professors of Humanities
* people with spiritual interests who are interested in reading for example the New Testament in the original text
In English we say: it' s Greek to me, about something so complicated and difficult.
In Greek, in the same circumstances, we say: it seems Chinese to me.
What I mean is: everytime we learn a new language it seems so difficult.
It's completely normal. That's why we need a teacher, to help us overcome obstacles.

Tips to a student:
* willing to learn
* patience
* try to speak
* NEVER GIVE UP!!! :)
NEVER GIVE UP!!!
It depends on the type of course you are taking
For example for 2 hours of lessons per week you need one year to reach level A2
