The course is delivered considering current topics the student is struggling with, and detecting previous knowledge needed. With a constructivist approach, examples and explanations are given in verbal, symbolic, and graphic format, to attend different learning styles. Building bridges between acquired knowledge and new one, in order to consolidate both.
Program adapted to the needs of the student, considering the topics in the current course and problems detected in previous knowledge.

Hello, my name is Oswaldo Monagas. I landed in Canada in 2000, I came from Venezuela, where I got retired after 25 years teaching math. Here in Canada I have also taught senior high math and now I am dedicated to math & Spanish tutoring, face to face and online.
I believe that math reasoning, knowledge and enjoyment is accessible to everyone, according to their effort and commitment and I offer my skills and experience to help you find and develop what you want from math.
I like challenging problems and focusing on acquisition of math skills and conceptual understanding on my students, preparing them for their current tasks and for what is coming ahead.
Hola, mi nombre es Oswaldo Monagas. Llegué a Canada en el año 2000, vine de Venezuela, donde me retire después de 25 años enseñando matemáticas. Aquí en Canada he enseñado matematicas en secundaria y ahora me dedico a tutoría de matemáticas e inglés, en persona y en línea. Creo que el razonamiento, conocimiento y dusfrute de la matemática es accesible a todos, de acuerdo a su esfuerzo y compromiso, y ofrezco mis destrezas y experiencia para ayudarte a hallar y desarrollar lo que deseas de la matemática.
