I have been teaching music in private lessons, music schools and at university level since 2012 and I always start working with the student's musical ear, at any level.
I obtained a Master's Degree in Jazz Music in Milan, and an Early Music Recorder Diploma at Pavia's Conservatory. I currently play in several bands ranging from Jazz to Tango, from Early music to Gipsy.
I also wrote several music books (available on amazon.com).
I majored in jazz piano, on top of having a solid classical music basis. Learning tunes by ear, improvising, composing your own songs are also possible for whoever needs a more heterogeneous approach to music lessons.
This course is for beginner piano students. Lessons adapt to students’ musical abilities and individual learning styles with an emphasis in music theory development to facilitate further progress.

I like to invest time in knowing my students' personality to better recognize their motivations. Then I assess their theoretical knowledge and technical ability and design lesson plans that adapt to their musical abilities, motivations, and individual learning styles. I believe it is essential to understand what each student finds to be engaging and interesting such as specific songs, bands, or music styles, and then use those elements to keep them interested in learning.
