Courses and Teachers : Arab

An interview with:

Karima Mokhtar

Arab teacher

Q:
What do you like the most about teaching Arabic?
A:

Thank you for asking!

What I love most about teaching Arabic is helping students discover the beauty of the language and connecting them to Arab culture. I enjoy seeing my students grow in confidence, learn to communicate effectively, and enjoy the process step by step.

I also master all Arabic dialects and Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), so I can guide students to use the language naturally in any country or context.

You can learn more about my lessons and book a class with me here: www.multilanguagecafe.com/teacher-profile.php?teacher_id=23012&ref=1508114432

Q:
When did you start teaching Arabic?
A:

I began my long and rewarding journey of teaching Arabic in 1990, and it continues to this day. Over the years, I have taught students of all ages and levels, both male and female, in group lessons, one-on-one sessions, and online classes. I have experience teaching both native and non-native speakers, making every lesson engaging and effective.

I also guide students in all Arabic dialects and Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), so they can communicate confidently in any context.

Q:
In your experience, what are the most common reasons for wanting to learn Arabic?
A:

In my experience, students want to learn Arabic for many different reasons, including:

Travelling across Northern Africa and the Middle East and communicating with locals

Connecting with their cultural or family heritage

Religious studies, including reading and understanding the Quran

Professional or academic opportunities that require Arabic skills

I help my students achieve their goals by tailoring lessons to their needs, level, and interests, and I teach all Arabic dialects as well as Modern Standard Arabic (MSA).
