I´ve always loved how diverse are the different cultures speaking Spanish, so I love that my students will be able to experience all of that diversity because they learned from me!
I´ve been teaching from high-school to my friends, but it wasn´t until 4 years ago when I started studying a Master of Teaching Spanish in Missouri when I also started teaching Spanish at the university there as part of an internship program.
Mostly people want to use it to travel or move to a Spanish-speaking country.
I´d say that out of the romance languages it´s an easy one, but it depends the language you use for comparisson xD
Differences are mostly in pronunciation and a few words that are different, but if you speak Spanish from any place you´ll understand 99% of what someone from another Spanish-speaking country says.
They usually like typical Spanish music or festivals. And of course food!
Subjunctive, definetely subjunctive haha.
A student that is motivated and wants to learn is always a good student.
It depends on your language of origin and on your specific way of learning.
Persevere, watch some series with subtitles, listen to music... Eventually you´ll surpass all obstacles!
