About the teacher

I am originally from Labrador but have been living on and off in the wonderfully cosmopolitan and multicultural city of Montreal since the age of 7. I have worked in the music and film industry but made the career change towards education almost 20 years ago. I am passionate about culture, history, and travel, and as such, teaching has afforded me the opportunity to live and work in 5 different countries and cultures and allowed me to experience vast diversity and express my creativity through my work.

Experience

In the various positions I have held, from classroom teacher to teacher-trainer to director of studies over the past 18 years, I have added value to each institution where I have worked and have a long record of proven results. I bring a professional, innovative, and effective approach toward 21st-century learning in all of my endeavors and I am a firm believer in excellence in education.
My reputation with my employers, students, and clients is impeccable. I have traveled extensively and lived and worked in five countries for extended periods as new cultural experiences are a passion.
