About the teacher

Hi! My name is Daniël Dojčinović and I'm 24 years old. I was born and raised in Amsterdam, but I moved to Berlin this year. I am half-Dutch and half-Serbian, so I was raised with three languages that I speak fluently (Dutch, English and Serbian). I am also actively learning German.

I studied cognitive musicology and I'm a singer/songwriter. Besides my passion for music, I love languages and literature. My dad is an author so I grew up with books and languages around me. I have tutored Dutch to kids and adults before and I'm looking forward to help you improve your language skills.

Hoi! Ik ben Daniël Dojčinović en ik ben 24 jaar. Ik ben geboren en getogen in Amsterdam, en dit jaar naar Berlijn verhuisd. Ik ben half-Nederlands en half-Servisch, dus ik ben opgegroeid met drie talen die ik vloeiend spreek (Nederlands, Engels en Servisch). Ook leer ik momenteel Duits.

Ik heb cognitieve muziekwetenschappen gestudeerd en ben singer-songwriter. Naast mijn passie voor muziek houd ik heel erg van talen en literatuur. Mijn vader is schrijver dus ik ben opgegroeid met boeken en talen om me heen. Ik heb eerder al Nederlandse lessen gegeven aan kinderen en volwassenen en kijk ernaar uit om jouw taalvaardigheden ook verder te helpen.

Dobar dan! Ja sam Daniël Dojčinović i imam 24 godine. Ceo život sam živeo u Holandiji, ali sam se ove godine preselio u Berlin. Ja sam polu Holanđanin, polu Srbin, i zato govorim tri jezika (holandski, engleski i srpski). Takođe učim nemački.

Studirao sam kognitivnu muzikologiju, a po profesiji sam pevač i kantautor. Pored muzike, mnogo volim jezike i književnost. Moj otac je pisac, pa sam odrastao sa knjigama. Već sam predavao holandski deci i odraslima i radujem se što ću moći i tebi da pomognem da naučiš holandski jezik.

Bachelor in Musicology (specialization in cognitive musicology), University of Amsterdam, graduated in 2022.
