Good day to you,
My name is David and I'm very happy that you're reading this introduction. I hope you've had a great year! It's certainly been an interesting one, in terms of culture and the political landscape, hasn't it?
Well, here's a little bit about who I am...
I'm a graduate at Canterbury Christ Church University, in 2006. I gained a BA degree in Film, Radio and Television Studies.
You must know that I work very hard for my students. In the last twelve months, I have taught over 1,000 lessons to pupils from countries like Japan, Colombia, Kenya, Canada, France, Italy, Norway and Indonesia. I presently teach 6 year olds and teenagers.
I'm also an experienced playwright, novelist and director, with a soft spot for current affairs. My students benefit from topics covering politics, culture, climate and sports. Over the years,
I have written numerous plays, crafted some ambitious manuscripts and directed quite a few productions! I'm finishing my feature film debut.
The arts is undoubtedly my strongest suit. In my lessons we do of course focus on the big four: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. I cover levels A1 to C2. I can also help with letter or CV writing, preparation for exams or presentations, editing your work, speaking, performing, grammar or creative writing, reading and listening.
Well, that's all I have to report for now. What about you? Tell me a bit about yourself... Why do you want learn or practice English?
BA in Film, Radio and Television Studies from Canterbury Christ Church (2006)
I taught English as a second language to students from numerous countries, via an online school. They differed in ages and levels. Some where beginners, others advanced and most of them were in-between. A1 and C2.
