Hi! I'm James from the USA. My background is BSc Electrical Engineering and also TEFL certified. I like to snowboard, travel, fire spinning and cooking. I also have 5 years of industry experience in Computer/Robotics Engineering, and about 2-3 years teaching and tutoring. I mainly focus on tutoring math, but I can also help with robotics and coding.
When it comes to teaching math I am well aware of the common pitfalls people can get confused with. Whether you are a student struggling with homework or adult studying for their CELTA, I can help you see results you want to see in math. I am patient and use a variety of methods to help make the subjects make sense.
My main focus area is Discrete Math at the college level, I aim to equip my students with many mathematical tools so if they get stuck on an exam question they can optimize their chances of getting unstuck.

I have about 2-3 years of teaching experience, I tutored English in Turkey, Georgia (Country), and Cambodia. I have taught English, Math, Science, and Technologies (involving coding during class for demos and robotic demos). I currently work at an International School in Phnom Penh where I teach Years 1 to 3 math, Years 3 to 4 Science, and Year 7 Technologies. I also tutor online focusing mostly on Discrete Math for college students, and a few students learning robotics.
