About the teacher

Γεια σας! Με λένε Μαρία και είμαι καθηγήτρια ελληνικής γλώσσας και λογοτεχνίας. Τα ελληνικά είναι η μητρική μου γλώσσα. Μου αρέσει πολύ να διδάσκω ελληνικά σε ανθρώπους που επιθυμούν να μάθουν τη γλώσσα και την κουλτούρα της χώρας μου και απολαμβάνω πραγματικά να δουλεύω με ανθρώπους από διαφορετικά πολιτισμικά περιβάλλοντα.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Greek Philology (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, 2013)
Master’s Degree in General and Comparative Literature (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, 2017)
PhD candidate in General and Comparative Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Experience

As a professional tutor, I have Teaching Qualification, Certification in Teaching Greek as a Foreign Language and many years of teaching experience.
I have taught Greek as a second language to students at the University of Lille (France, 2019–2020), as well as online to international students of the 48th, 49th, and 50th International Summer School for Greek Language, History and Culture (2021–2023). I have also taught Greek to immigrants through formal and non-formal educational programs.
Currently, I teach Ancient and Modern Greek and Literature to high school students as well as Greek online
