About the teacher

Hello! My name is Nidya Sari, but you can call me Sari. I’m Indonesian and now living in Japan. Teaching has been my passion for 23 years—9 years teaching English in Indonesia and 14 years teaching Indonesian and English in Japan. I love the creative side of teaching, from designing engaging lessons to fostering positive learning environments. Outside of teaching, I enjoy crafting, especially tsumami zaiku (Japanese silk flower art), crocheting, origami, and more. I also love reading fiction and exploring history. I look forward to sharing my creativity and enthusiasm with learners from all backgrounds!
