First of all, let me tell you a little about me: I come from a place in Brazil called Belo Horizonte, which means "Beautiful Horizon". It's known for it's charming, welcoming people, for it's spirituality, and as well for it's cuisine. Passion for languages was ever a part of my character since I am a child of a Brazilian and a German. Teaching is great because it's one of the few things in life that, the more you share what you know, the more your knowledge grows. Hi, I'm Fernando Machado Silva, born in Lisbon, and for me teaching is a part of human development, an encounter of two minds. It is not just providing some knowledge, but instigating a dialogue, as long as both, teacher and student, are willing to exchange thoughts concerning the matter at hand. Hence, it is the intensification of responsability (acting as an answeraribility) and respect. My personal interests concern literature (poetry and prose from all centuries), philosophy, performative arts (such as theater, dance, performance, etc.), cinema and most of the music genders.
