Me llamo Betty Gentry. Soy profesora de inglés de los Esados Unidos. Ensenar es mi pasión en la vida porque se que aprender otro idioma, especialmente el inglés abre muchas puertas de oportunidad y me gusta saber que estoy ayudando a otros a salir adelante y poder aprovecharse de esas oportunidades. Me gusta viajar, pintar, tocar la flauta, montar caballos, y trabajar en el jardín y con los animales.

Hello, my name is Betty Ann Gentry. I am an ESL teacher with over 20 years of experience, having taught in the US, in Ecuador, and Colombia, as well as in Japan. I have taught children of all ages and adults. Teaching is my passion in life because I know first hand that it opens doors and provides opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable. So, I enjoy giving that gift to others and knowing that I am helping them to be able to take full advantage of those opportunities.


Qualifications

I am a certified paraprofessional authorized to teach in the US public school system. I also have a TEFL certificate. I attended Santa Rosa Junior College in 1986, and have continued my education online.


Experience

Tengo mas de 20 años de experiencia en la ensenanza de inglés como segundo idioma en los Estados Unidos, en Ecuador, en Colombia, y también en Japon. He ensenado a los ninos de todas edades y a los adultos. En Japon yo ensenaba el inglés y el francés y el arte. He ensenado en escuelas públicas y privadas y también he ofrecido clases particulares.
