First of all, I love to teach English! I have experience in teaching groups and individuals. I love to bring my students subjects of interest into my classes through assignments, cases or discussions. I'm good humoured and patient. I have a long business experience, so I'm really good at teaching business English.
I'm a BSc in Biology and I also have a Teaching Degree in Natural Sciences. I have an E-MBA from Business School in São Paulo in association with the University of Toronto where I attended several courses. I also have a Master in International Business for Norges Handelshoyskole in Bergen, Norway.
I've worked for 24 years in multinational corporations in the pharmaceutical field, in marketing, sales and management.
I love to travel and I've been in about 30 countries, both for business and tourism. I really like to get in touch with different cultures and people. This experience can be much enhanced if you speak one or more foreign languages.

Em primeiro lugar, acho importante dizer que realmente gosto de dar aulas de inglês ou português para estrangeiros. Tenho bastante experiência como professora particular (aulas individuais) e também para aulas em grupos. Uma das coisas que gosto de fazer em minhas aulas é trazer a realidade do aluno para dentro da aula através de discussões estruturadas, discussão de casos ou mesmo através de tarefas específicas. Tenho ótimo senso de humor e sou bastante paciente. Também tenho grande experiência em negócios, o que facilita muito ao ensinar inglês para negócios.
Sou Bacharel em Ciências Biológias e também sou Licenciado no mesmo campo de estudos. Possuo um E-MBA pela Business School de São Paulo em colaboração com a Universidade de Toronto onde fiz vários cursos do currículo. Além disso, também possuo um Master in International Business pela Norges Handelshoskole em Bergen, Norway.
Tenho 24 anos de experiência em corporações multinacionais da indústria farmacêutica, onde desenvolvi carreira em marketing, vendas e gestão.
Adoro viajar e visitei quase 30 países, tanto a negócios como por turismo. Eu realmente gosto de conhecer novos lugares, pessoas e culturas diferentes. Isso fica muito mais fácil quando se fala uma ou mais línguas estrangeiras.

I am an American born in San Diego but raised in Los Angeles, California. I graduated with a degree in International studies, with a focus on Brazil and for that reason I am living here in São Paulo!
I love teaching youth and adults English. There are so many diverse ways to approach English learners; you have to be creative but resolute. I work within the grammar book but also love giving assignments with movies, games, etc.
Personally, outside of the joy of teaching, I love soccer and also work with coffee.
