About the teacher

Master’s student in English and American Studies at the University of Turin, with 10 years of teaching experience and two literature-related certificates from Harvard University and Columbia University.
Being passionate about literature and a professional violinist, I blend art and entertainment with education, teaching children through gamification and adults through short stories and simple poetry.
I also organize IELTS preparation classes, and all my students who have taken lessons with me so far have achieved the scores they aimed for.

Sono una studentessa magistrale in English and American Studies all’Università di Torino, con 10 anni di esperienza nell’insegnamento e due certificati in letteratura da Harvard e Columbia.

Amo la letteratura e suono il violino professionalmente. Mi piace unire arte e divertimento all’insegnamento: insegno ai bambini con giochi e attività creative e agli adulti con racconti brevi e poesie semplici.
Organizzo anche lezioni di preparazione all’IELTS e tutti i miei studenti che hanno seguito i miei corsi hanno raggiunto i punteggi che desideravano.

Experience

I have taught English to a wide range of age groups, from two-year-old kids in kindergarten to adults, including IELTS candidates in Oman, university lecturers in Germany, and university entrance exam candidates in Canada.

I have taught General English, run free discussion and IELTS preparation classes, and never relied solely on any textbooks, since I usually find them extremely boring.

My classes focus especially on speaking skills, using simple literary texts, poetry, podcasts, and stream-of-consciousness discussions.
