I'm Ryo, an experienced live and session guitarist and composer from Japan. Having taken up proper Music / Guitar lessons in YAMAHA, Music college in Japan and Tech Music Schools (London UK), I have been dipping into a range of music from Rock, Pops, Blues, Funk, Jazz to Classical music, also Joining a lot of different types of bands and projects over London UK, Vancouver CA, Japan, Sydney AU and final stop here in Berlin Germany. Hello, I’m Leander from London. I’m a music teacher with 9 years of teaching experience, offering lessons in saxophone, singing, guitar, music theory and music production. I also work with students who are interested in the creative side of music, including composition, songwriting and arrangement.
The styles I most often teach are Jazz, Swing, Pop and Folk, although I’m happy to work in other genres depending on the student’s interests.
My teaching combines practical playing with music theory so that students not only improve technically but also gain a deeper understanding of music. Depending on the student’s goals, lessons can also include rhythm training, ear training, improvisation and songwriting.
In addition to performance, I am also a qualified Sound Designer and can teach music production and mixing for students who want to learn how to record and produce their own music.
