A Social Activity to Practice Acquired English

There is one language based network, Elan, that I have been associated to recently which helps bring artists together under with the aim of encouraging a community oriented exchange of ideas across the many art disciplines that exist in the cultural milieu. Since performance art has been an activity of mine besides ESL teaching, I have become knowledgeable of other art venues and met other artists through this organization. There are obviously many other ways to practice the English language using libraries, joining meeting groups and clubs and by making an effort to talk to Anglophones besides listening to English language films and sound recordings etc.
