I am teaching Bulgarian to foreigners and English to Bulgarians. I like the opportunity to meet new peoples, learn about their country and culture and share with them Bulgarian language and culture.
I have also developed several Bulgarian language manuals for foreigners and resource books for teachers and I am planning to continue working in this field.
My hobbies are traveling, photography, graphic design and reading.

I am currently teaching Bulgarian to foreigners. From 1999 through 2003 I worked as a Bulgarian language and culture facilitator for US Peace Corps Trainees and Volunteers in Bulgaria. Prior to this, I have worked for 8 years as a lecturer, teacher, and examiner at various universities and language centers in Sofia, Bulgaria.
I have an MA in Russian Studies from Sofia University and an MBA in Marketing from the City University of Seattle. I also hold a post-graduate certificate for Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

My work included design of integrated language competencies,curriculum materials and training resources; direct language instructions (group and one-on-one) and assessment of up to 80 Americans each year.

Hello, everyone! My name is Matey. I am originally from Sofia, Bulgaria. I like to give knowledge to students and see how they improve in the learning process. Being clear, understandable and thoughtful is most important for me. My students should feel interested in the subject and learn because they want to, not because they have to. For me, teaching means care for each student and is a life-long learner. My personal interests are drawing/painting, swimming, public transportation, tourism and music.

I have taught English during summer in Bulgaria. My students were children at age of 8-16. Since they were children, the handouts with pictures and words/short sentences on them played an important role in the learning process. Also, I required a lot of participation and team work. As a teacher, it was very important all children to move forward and help each other, so that no one feels lost with the material. Fun activities included watching movies in English, writing essays, meeting a native English speaker and reading articles/comics. Having this experience already gives me an opportunity to explain clearly each lesson to older people and move forward based on their progress. I am willing to teach you Bulgarian no matter how old you are, as long as you want to learn it! My teacher experience also includes all four levels with demonstration of patience and understanding to each of my students.

Hello! I am Daniela, I am originally from Sofia, Bulgaria, I teach Bulgarian online, I teach foreigners living in Bulgarian as well as kids of families with Bulgarian roots.
