Having taken up proper Music / Guitar lessons in YAMAHA, Music college in Japan and Tech Music Schools (London UK), I have been dipping into a range of music from Rock, Pops, Blues, Funk, Jazz to Classical music, also Joining a lot of different types of bands and projects over London UK, Vancouver CA, Japan, Sydney AU and final stop here in Berlin Germany. My name is Arthur Higgins and I am an experienced musician who gigs regularly around the North East and South Wales. I have played in many bands over the years on saxophone, piano/keyboard and clarinet ranging from traditional, classical orchestras to jazz big bands and funk bands. I am versatile in many genres frequently gigging with my own band, a jazz sextet as well as open nights and headlining bands as the lead player. My current touring band is Hannah Rickard & The Relatives, a rock n roll/rockabilly group based in London.
I am a very laid back person but push people to be the best they can be. I am free to travel to most areas of the North East and surrounding areas and do not directly require the student to come to me - this can change week to week as necessary. All student preferences are catered to with the student guiding the musical material for the lessons.
