I am a Brazilian teacher and for many years I helped students in Brazilians Portuguese to improve their knowledge of writing, reading and speaking, also to prepare them for their exams.
I have been a resident of Canada for over ten years, and wish to continue my teaching to provide help for people wanting to speak, write, read and understand Brazilian Portuguese for educational studies, travel, business or simply improve their cultural understanding about Brazil. Graduated in Modern Languages from Concordia and Business Administration from Ottawa U.

Hi! My Name is Diana. So you're interested in learning Portuguese? That's awesome! Portuguese is a very beautiful language and spoken in many countries.

First of all, let me tell you a little about me: I come from a place in Brazil called Belo Horizonte, which means "Beautiful Horizon". It's known for it's charming, welcoming people, for it's spirituality, and as well for it's cuisine. Passion for languages was ever a part of my character since I am a child of a Brazilian and a German. Teaching is great because it's one of the few things in life that, the more you share what you know, the more your knowledge grows. I am also passionated about arts (specially painting and acting) and cultural travels.

Hi, I'm Fernando Machado Silva, born in Lisbon, and for me teaching is a part of human development, an encounter of two minds. It is not just providing some knowledge, but instigating a dialogue, as long as both, teacher and student, are willing to exchange thoughts concerning the matter at hand. Hence, it is the intensification of responsability (acting as an answeraribility) and respect. My personal interests concern literature (poetry and prose from all centuries), philosophy, performative arts (such as theater, dance, performance, etc.), cinema and most of the music genders. Other interest is translation, as a hobby but also professionally. And writing, for my blog, newspapers, specialized magazines and for my own carreer as writer and poet.
