My name is Arthur Higgins and I am an experienced musician who gigs regularly around the North East and South Wales. I have played in many bands over the years on saxophone, piano/keyboard and clarinet ranging from traditional, classical orchestras to jazz big bands and funk bands. I am versatile in many genres frequently gigging with my own band, a jazz sextet as well as open nights and headlining bands as the lead player. My current touring band is Hannah Rickard & The Relatives, a rock n roll/rockabilly group based in London.
I am a very laid back person but push people to be the best they can be. I am free to travel to most areas of the North East and surrounding areas and do not directly require the student to come to me - this can change week to week as necessary. All student preferences are catered to with the student guiding the musical material for the lessons.

I gained the majority of my experience in tuition teaching beginners before I moved to the North East. This was on saxophone, clarinet and piano with all students having great success in both ABRSM grade exams and in pubic performances. I continue to teach once settled and now have almost ten years experience.

Passionnée de la musique sous toutes ses formes, je suis une étudiante en guitare au niveau universitaire en interprétation classique. Après avoir pratiqué la guitare acoustique et électrique ainsi que le chant, je suis persuadée que je saurai vous enseigner ce que vous voulez apprendre et vous transmettre mon amour de la musique. Ensemble, nous pourrons faire des accords, du fingerpicking, chanter en s'accompagnant, jouer des solos et des riffs aussi bien que du répertoire classique et populaire. (The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bach, Mozart...)
Mon expérience d'enseignement autant avec les enfants et les adolescents (7-15 ans) qu'avec les adultes m'a permise de développer des astuces et des méthodes pédagogiques pour répondre aux besoins de chacun et chacune. Les cours sont dynamiques et orientés vers les besoins et les désirs des élèves.
Je donne également des cours de théorie musicale, solfège, dictée musicale et histoire de la musique pour une éducation musicale complète ou pour la préparation à des examens d'admission.

Passionate about music in all its forms, I am a student at university in guitar classic interpretation. After practicing the acoustic and electric guitar as well as singing, I am confident that I can teach you what you want to learn and share my love of music. Together, we can make chords, fingerpicking, singing with accompaniment, playing solos and riffs as well as classical and popular repertoire. (The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bach, Mozart ...)
My teaching experience as well as with children and adolescents (7-15 years) than adults allowed me to develop tricks and teaching methods to meet the needs of each one. Classes are dynamic and oriented to the needs and desires of students.
I also give courses in music theory, solfegio, ear training and music history for a complete musical education or preparing for entrance exams.
You can take classes in private or with friends in a semi-private group!

Mi experiencia en la enseñanza tanto con niños y adolescentes (7-15 años) que los adultos me ha permitido desarrollar trucos y métodos de enseñanza para satisfacer las necesidades de cada uno y una. Las clases son dinámicas y orientadas a las necesidades y deseos de los estudiantes.
También doy cursos de teoría musical, solfegio, la formación del oído y la historia de la música para una educación musical completa o la preparación para pruebas de acceso.

I'm Joshua Tindall, an Australian musician/teacher with a huge passion for sharing knowledge and helping others achieve their goals. I really enjoy seeing hard work pay off especially when my students have that 'click' moment as they realise or master a skill they've been working.
Since graduating university in Sydney, I've moved to London and worked as a school teacher in many different schools before deciding to move to Berlin and focus on making a more musical career. Since moving to Berlin I've focused on teaching piano, composition and jazz alongside the recording side of things. Currently, I'm teaching students between the ages of 4 and 70, with a range of abilities, everything from beginner piano skills to advanced improvisation techniques as well as how to set up a recording studio and compose their own music.
Personally I find that teaching something that you truly enjoy makes a huge difference, I look forward to those early mornings where I get to do what I enjoy!
