My name is Marta Fernandez and I am from Spain. I obtained a diploma in Spanish teaching from the Hemingway Institute (Spain), which is officially recognized and pedagogically oriented by the Cervantes Institute (a major institution devoted to the teaching and spread of Spanish language and culture worldwide). The teaching methodology that I have learnt is based in the communicative method, where the teaching of the new language focuses preferably in semantics than in formal aspects of the language. I love nature, photography, cinema and music.
I have a diploma in Spanish teaching from the Hemingway Institute (Bilbao, Spain), "Curso de Profesores de Español como Lengua Extranjera ELE". Also, I have a B.Sc in Environmental Sciences, University of Alcalá (Madrid, Spain) and a M.Sc. in Biodiversity & Ecosystem Management and Functioning University of Basque Country (Bilbao, Spain).
I have two years of experience as a Spanish teacher. One year in Bilbao (Spain) teaching private lessons to international students and one year working as Spanish teacher at a language school (CLC) in Montreal, Canada.
