About the teacher

Bonjour! Je m'appelle Andrés, je suis professeur d'espagnol et d'anglais né en Colombie. J'ai plus de 9 ans d'expérience dans l'enseignement de ces langues. Ma passion pour cette profession remonte à mes années de collège. Ma professeure d'anglais m'a conseillé de commencer une carrière en tant que professeur de langues, et c'était vraiment une excellente décision. J'adore quand les étudiants peuvent communiquer dans la langue cible et qu'ils se sentent si satisfaits et reconnaissants.

J'aime aussi la musique et mes passe-temps sont jouer de la guitare, de la basse, chanter et jouer au tennis de temps en temps.

Experience

After I graduated from the university in 2014, I started working right away teaching English in small groups of school and university students. A year later, I started a new job as an English teacher but with adults only.
Then, in 2016, I was hired by a Colombian public institution that offers many different technical programs and I taught English there for about 7 years. Between 2020 and 2024 I have also worked as an online English and Spanish teacher. I have taught students from the UK, Australia, USA, Poland, Spain and Colombia.
