About the teacher

Hallo, ich bin Leander aus London. Ich bin Musiklehrerin mit 9 Jahren Unterrichtserfahrung und biete Unterricht in Saxophon, Gesang, Gitarre, Musiktheorie und Musikproduktion an. Ich arbeite auch mit Studenten, die sich für die kreative Seite der Musik interessieren, einschließlich Komposition, Songwriting und Arrangement.

Die Stile, die ich am häufigsten unterrichte, sind Jazz, Swing, Pop und Folk, obwohl ich je nach den Interessen des Schülers gerne in anderen Genres arbeite.

Mein Unterricht verbindet praktisches Spielen mit Musiktheorie, sodass sich die Schüler nicht nur technisch verbessern, sondern auch ein tieferes Verständnis für Musik erlangen. Je nach Zielsetzung des Schülers kann der Unterricht auch Rhythmustraining, Gehörbildung, Improvisation und Songwriting umfassen.

Neben der Performance bin ich auch qualifizierter Sounddesigner und kann Musikproduktion und - mixing für Schüler unterrichten, die lernen möchten, wie man eigene Musik aufnimmt und produziert.

Hello, I’m Leander from London. I’m a music teacher with 9 years of teaching experience, offering lessons in saxophone, singing, guitar, music theory and music production. I also work with students who are interested in the creative side of music, including composition, songwriting and arrangement.

The styles I most often teach are Jazz, Swing, Pop and Folk, although I’m happy to work in other genres depending on the student’s interests.

My teaching combines practical playing with music theory so that students not only improve technically but also gain a deeper understanding of music. Depending on the student’s goals, lessons can also include rhythm training, ear training, improvisation and songwriting.

In addition to performance, I am also a qualified Sound Designer and can teach music production and mixing for students who want to learn how to record and produce their own music.

Lessons are available for children and adults, from complete beginners to advanced students.

Experience

I have been teaching privately for nine years, and also taught in Musikplus! music school for one year. I teach Saxophone, Singing, and Guitar mainly, as well as music theory and songwriting. I have also taught piano to children and beginners.
