Why learn Portuguese? Although most people prefer Spanish when it comes to learn a second language, Portuguese is not very far behind when it comes to number of speakers. More than 230 million people speak Portuguese around the world, mainly in Portugal, Brazil and countries like Angola, Cape Verde and Guinea-Bissau. Portuguese is the 7th most widely spoken language in the world!
If you already speak another Romance language like French or Italian, learning Portuguese will be a breeze. If, on the other hand, this is the first one you learn, learning the others will likewise be easier. Portuguese is not only a beautiful and poetic language. It is also the language of Brazil, a country with a vibrant culture and one of the largest economies of the world. If you are more interested in Europe, Portuguese will open you the doors of its mother land.
Portuguese courses at Multi-Language Cafe
If you are interested in learning Portuguese but dislike the idea of attending a regular language school, consider taking private Portuguese lessons with one of Multi-Language Cafe's teachers. Private lessons are more engaging than group classes and will help you master the language faster. You can follow your classes online, using a service like Zoom or Skype, or in person, in public places like a library or a coffee shop. You decide your own schedule and you book your own classes in our online calendar according to your own availabilities.
