About the teacher

Hello and welcome! My name is Maribel and I am a native English speaker from California. I am a student of Art History with a degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, in French and History. I enjoy going to museums, often spending hours roaming the galleries and viewing my favorite works of art. Another favorite past time is helping students reach their potential in school. I have worked as a tutor for about eight years now, focusing on one on one classes. I find this is the best way to work with a student in need of extra guidance, as it gives me the opportunity to tailor lessons to their best method of learning and their needs. My hope is that I can do this for you as well.

Bonjour et bienvenue à mon profil. Je m’appelle Maribel et je viens des États-Unis. Je suis à Paris comme étudiante de l’histoire de l’art, mais j’ai reçu mon diplôme il y a beaucoup d'années dans la langue Française et l’Histoire Européenne. J’aime aller souvent aux musées d’art, dans lesquels je peux passer beaucoup de temps. Pour moi, l’art est simplement magnifique. De plus, j’adore aider les étudiants avec ses cours. Il est vraiment un plaisir de les aider obtenir ses meilleures qualifications. Pour cette raison, je travaille comme une institutrice privée depuis huit ans. Selon moi, les cours privés sont les meilleures pour trouver la manière comme une personne apprend le mieux et ceux dont a besoin. J’espère pouvoir faire ça pour vous aussi.
