All ages and levels are welcome to my Greek classes. Each class will include learning new vocabulary, conversation and reading. My main goal is to teach the material and be able to use it in a conversation. There will be written exercises related to the lesson of the day.

I have lots of personal experience learning a new language. I have the skills and knowledge on how to teach a foreign language to someone. My Greek classes are always fun and I use material according to each individuals' interests. My course material is from Greece and the classes are tailored to students needs and demands.

I use drama-based techniques such as analyzing poems or songs. In this way, students understand the meanings and peculiarities of the language in greater depth. Additionally, parsing words into their etymology is a method I enjoy using. Especially the Greek language through language loans and anti-loans is largely connected with several foreign languages. This is something that in my experience, my students find highly interesting and exciting.

We also focus a lot on speaking, so that the students can become more familiar with it even from the first lessons! Additionally, there is a lot of extra material like movies, songs, texts, poems so that the course is less boring and more interactive!

My goal of teaching Greek is to help beginners to understand the philosophy of greek language, structure and characteristics that make the language so unique. My goal is also to support their study by focusing on their interests in order to demonstrate the importance of the course in a friendly way.

Basic Greek. We will start by greeting and make small talk (like hello how are you and how to reply to this and introducing yourself both in formal and informal)

We won't start by the alphabet but by actual phrases so you can start practising straight away. I hear what you need and we will work towards that goal.
