My favorite element of teaching Greek is the exploration of the languages roots through history. When it comes to greek vocabulary and grammar, that would be the skeleton of the language. The idioms finally, are the beauty of Greek language.
I started teaching Greek while I was studying in Greece. Some Erasmus students stayed in Corfu Island for couple months and I decided to help them by teaching them some greek phrases. That was the moment that I pursued that by teaching immigrants in my hometown in order to help them survive.
Greek language may sound different or they may seem difficult. However learning something new is a unique experience, and I think that Greek language has a lot to offer to anyone that wishes to learn it.
