What do you like the most about teaching Greek?
A:

the deconstructing of the greek words to each roots and genarally meeting people that wants to learn greek

When did you start teaching Greek?
A:

12 years ago

In your experience, what are the most common reasons for wanting to learn Greek?
A:

travelling, moving to greece and having a partner who is from greece. Also immigrants who want the greek citizenship

How difficult is it to learn Greek, compared to other languages?
A:

It is a little ! And that is because it s not like the latin languages , it has many cases, new grammar that foreigners are not familiar with and also the different expressions.

What aspects of Greek culture are your students usually interested in?
A:

Food, history and mythology

What's the hardest part of being a Greek teacher?
A:

I guess pronunciation. But being a greek teacher is something i enjoy. Nothing seems hard

What makes a good Greek student?
A:

Curiosity, consistency and willingness

What's the hardest part of learning Greek?
A:

grammar, cases and syntax

What is your advice for students who are struggling?
A:

listen to podcasts, watch movies, listen to greek music

How long does it take to become fluent in Greek?
A:

3 years depending on the pace of each student though
