What do you like about teaching French?
A:

I get to express my passion through work and I meet people who have passion to learn

When did you decide to become an French teacher?
A:

After college I decided to teach French part time in person and I was on demand by tuition centers so I did it for a few years and now I have my own company I teach online. I am still in demand. I balance for different institutions.

In your experience, what are the most common reasons for wanting to learn French?
A:

To study or work abroad or for a multinational corporation like the UN. I also met someone who was married to a Francophone and needed to learn to communicate better

How difficult is it to learn French, compared to other languages?
A:

It is not difficult if you are motivated and curious outside class.

If you have books music videos games and friends you can be fluent in a year

What's the hardest part of teaching French?
A:

Grammar verbs in different tenses

Theres so many rules and so much specific for spellings homonyms formalities and culture difference.

I teach everything not just book exercises.

What makes a good French student?
A:

Someone who works hard to improve themselves in homework and classwork

Someone who asks smart questions

Someone who goes beyond classes to research and learn more

What's the hardest part of learning French?
A:

Verbs in present tense are hard to master at first.

The accents and sounds

Some grammar topics are hard but overall practice makes perfect

What is your advice for students who are struggling?
A:

Keep pushing.

Yes you will pass the exam

You will be fluent in no time

You will get a promotion

You will graduate from Paris

How long does it take to become fluent in French?
A:

It can take 1 year or more.

If you are in a French environment it won't take long but if you are in aa different language environment at home work you might take longer. It depends on you

In your opinion, what makes some students progress faster than others?
A:

Attitude towards success

Mindset about the French people and culture

Some students start excited but lose morale along the way.

Some start slow and become better as they get to each level. Some get slower or forget quickly.
