What do you like the most about teaching Arabic?
A:

I love teaching Arabic and showing non-Arab students the secrets and joy of this captivating language. I also love meeting new people from different cultures and proving that learning a new language and culture is not difficult.

A:

In your experience, what are the most common reasons for wanting to learn Arabic?
A:

It is traveling for tourism to Arab countries, or to learn more about the Islamic religion.


 
Q:
How difficult is it to learn Arabic, compared to other languages?
A:

Arabic is not difficult, but it requires a lot of practice to master it, to learn good pronunciation, and for the learner to reach a good level where they can engage in a full conversation. This requires practice and simplified explanations.


 
Q:
What aspects of Arabic culture are your students usually interested in?
A:

They are interested in the Islamic religion and also in ancient Egyptian heritage.


 
Q:
How is Arabic from Egypt different from that of other countries?
A:

Egyptian Arabic is characterized by its flexibility, ease of speaking, and widespread use in the Arab world.


 
Q:
What's the hardest part of teaching Arabic?
A:

Some students may find it slightly difficult at first because the letters and pronunciation are new to them, but after several lessons and practice, they overcome this obstacle and what remains becomes easier.


 
Q:
What makes a good Arabic student?
A:

Adherence to the plan and the assignment given by the teacher, and passion and perseverance in learning and practicing the new language.

What's the hardest part of learning Arabic?
A:

The first three lessons

What is your advice for students who are struggling?
A:

They shouldn't worry or give up on learning; this is normal at the beginning, and it is from mistakes that we learn.
