About the teacher

My name is Behzad and I live in Iran. Teaching English was my childhood passion since it enables me to connect myself to the world of different cultures and traditions. I believe in this today's world people can get to know each other using a common international language. Therefore, I studied English for 7 years at state universities in my country and I managed to get my master's degree in TEFL with a high dissertation score of 19.63 out of 20. For me, teaching English is not just a profession, but it is a gate to enter the world of wonders. Along with educating myself in English, I also took some music lessons and I can play the guitar whenever I feel bored. I am also a professional swimmer and an avid reader. In my spare time, I often watch films and take a long walk to feel the beauty of being in nature and among people too.

Qualifications

I graduated in English literature from Urmia State University in Iran in 2011. Then, I finished my TEFL course at Zanjan State University in my own hometown in 2016. In addition, I worked hard to get my TESOL certificate from Arizona State university in 2023.

Experience

I have been teaching English for 9 years. I taught for Iran Language Institute (highly prestigious in Iran) for 5 years, then I started to teach Vietnamese students (mostly from major cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City) on Skype for 3 years. I had a short experience of teaching English for Japanese students for 5 months too. I teach conversational English, and English for kids and teenagers as well as English for adults. I can prepare students to take their proficiency tests in English, and I can also help them improve their pronunciations and grammar skills.
