BA degree (Magna Cum Laude) from State University of New York in Anthropology with emphasis on Cultural and Cognitive Anthropology and Linguistics. Business coach and English teacher. I have 14 years of experience teaching ESL (English as a Second Language).

Witam. Urodziłem się w Polsce, ale moim podstawowym językiem jest angielski. W USA spędziłem większość swojego życia, gdzie ukończyłem studia z antropologii, z wyszczególnieniem antropologii kulturowej i językoznawstwa. Doświadczenie: tłumacz, coach biznesowy i nauczyciel języka angielskiego wsród polsko-języcznego środowiska na terenie stanu New York. Zainteresowania: antropologia, filozofia, jezykoznawstwo, astrofizyka i sport.

Experience

Teaching English in Polish communities in the State of New York since 2000. While in college in New Paltz, NY (2000-2004) I was tutoring ESL college students. Simultaneous English- Polish translator. As ESL teacher mostly use one-on-one system with emphasis on communicative approach.
2010-20014 tutoring business professionals in New Paltz and Mahopac, NY area.
Helping tools are often various types of audio-visual media including internet. Translation of text and proper pronunciation as well as practice of sentence formation via conversation and in writing form, are very important to be fully immersed with the new language experience. One on-one-tutoring starting with the basic grammar terms, writing and reading is fundamental. Working with two or three students is pretty effective as well. Small writing assignments and tests will help improve student's grammar, tenses and punctuation. Reading own material out loud is also the key to improvement in pronunciation.
