Hello! My name is Evelyn. I was born in Thailand, and grew up mostly in Myanmar, Taiwan, and the United States. I hold a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from the College of Wooster in Ohio where I graduated Magna Cum Laude.
I have about one year of ESL teaching experience and also experience as a teaching apprentice in philosophy. I personally have plenty of experience learning different languages; I speak English, Chinese, Thai, and Burmese, and grew up in a multi-lingual and household.
I am interested in teaching and pedagogy, and enjoy thinking of new ways of teaching difficult concepts and language points to my students. My goal is always to keep lessons fun and exciting, and to respond to students' feedback and needs in the classroom.
