Para a primeira aula, vamos nos introduzir e encontrar o seu nível. Depois dessa aula, vou saber como eu posso construir uma aula em relação com seu trabalho, paixão ou outra razão(ões) para aprender inglês. Com isso, enfocáramos na gramática e jeito da língua (livro, material, jogos, videos, etc).
For your first class, we will introduce each other and figure out your appropriate level. After this, I will know how to construct a class in relation to your work, passion or other reason(s) for learning English. With this, we will focus on grammar and understand how the language is used.
I pull out ideas from my different source materials. There is a fine balance of grammar practice exercises and homework, teaching and showing, and educational game-playing and movie-watching. It is the perfect blend of what you need to find a language intriguing and therefore want to learn it.

I am an American born in San Diego but raised in Los Angeles, California. I graduated with a degree in International studies, with a focus on Brazil and for that reason I am living here in São Paulo!
I love teaching youth and adults English. There are so many diverse ways to approach English learners; you have to be creative but resolute. I work within the grammar book but also love giving assignments with movies, games, etc.
Personally, outside of the joy of teaching, I love soccer and also work with coffee.
