Hi! I am a certified English teacher with experience teaching all ages (5-85). I am fun and enthusiastic, my approach is focussed on improving your conversation.
I teach through conversation. I like to pick interesting or fun topics and improve English through them. English textbooks are often boring so I try to use them as little as possible!
The main objective of my conversation classes is to improve your practical conversation skills.
The following things are needed to have a conversation: grammar, vocabulary, listening skills, pronunciation and fluency.
Fluency is being able to speak easily, without having to translate from Spanish/Catalan to English in your head. This is my main focus. I want to get you speaking and feel comfortable speaking.
Grammar, Vocabulary, Listening Skills, and Pronunciation won’t be the focus of the course. However, that does not mean that they aren’t important.
Students will aim to:

Participate in conversations about lifestyle.
Participate in conversations about people.
Participate in conversations about places.
Participate in conversations about the past.
Participate in conversations about current affairs.
Participate in conversations anything that they are interested in!

Hi! I'm Edward. I'm from England and I have been living in London for the last two years. I have left to come and teach English in Barcelona. I'm an enthusiastic and fun teacher. I try to get students speaking as much as possible. I have a formal certificate in teaching English from Trinity College in London.
- First class honours in Business Administration from Lancaster University.
- Trinity Cert. TESOL from Trinity College London/Oxford House.
I have taught English in Prague, Czech Republic and Quito, Ecuador.
