In this class, we will be focusing on english grammar that is typically more difficult for spanish speakers. In order to learn it well, we will practice these themes in conversations that you will surely encounter in real life.
As someone who has learned another language, I know how important a comfortable and supportive learning environment is. I think it is important to tackle difficult things and know how to laugh at yourself in the process. I will challenge you in conversation, while making it fun at the same time! Hello! My name is Emily Terry. I am a 22-year-old recent university graduate currently living in Madrid. I studied Bilingual Education, so my ultimate goal is to be an English and Spanish teacher in the United States. I absolutely love to teach, seeing others learn makes me so happy! And since I learned Spanish myself, I understand how difficult it can be to begin speaking a new language. With me, you do not need to feel nervous. I am here to help and to support your language growth! I also love to spend time outside, traveling, dancing, and meeting new people. I look forward to many fun classes in the near future!
